Creating a Template for Printing Saved Search Results
Before we begin, you need to have a saved search. If you're not familiar with this process, NetSuite provides a guide for creating and saving a search.
With a saved search in hand, follow these steps to create a template:
1. Navigate to `Lists > Search > Saved Searches` and click `Edit` on your desired saved search.
2. You'll see a `New Template` button at the top of the page. Click this to generate a new advanced template. This template will contain all result fields from the saved search.
3. Want to modify the template title? Click `Template Setup` to open the Template Setup window. Here, you can make any changes to the title.
Printing Using the Advanced PDF Template
Once you've created your template, you're ready to print your saved search results.
Here's how:
1. Navigate to `Lists > Search > Saved Searches` and click `view` on your desired saved search.
2. You'll see a `Print` button (which looks like a printer icon). Click this, and a window displaying a list of available templates for printing will open.
Note: If there's no layout available, clicking the Print button will only use browser printing.3. Select your desired template and click `Print`.
And you're done! You've successfully printed your saved search results using an Advanced PDF template.
